Yeah.

I’m OK, my family is OK. I have a lot of friends and co-workers who travel through BRU each week; all of them seem safe and accounted for.

I live 55km from Mannequin Pis and 71km from the airport.

Still too close for comfort, but that is reality in this day and age.

Life is going on; co-workers were arguing over the importance of Hong Kong Phooey versus Scooby Doo. I’m still trying to corner one of my francophone co-workers to call about the motherlode of Citroen DS’ available not from from home/work.

Glad everyone is okay, my heart goes out to the families of the people who died. People suck, and times like this makes me just want to buy a Series Land Rover, move to some tiny tropical island and be a beach bum bartender the rest of my life.

Honestly, not having it affect people much is one of the best ways to combat it. The objective is mass-hysteria, so if they cause mass-hysteria, they’ve pretty much won.

I told a coworker this morning that I’m afraid that hearing about suicide bombings and school shooting every few weeks is going to be the new normal for the foreseeable future... very depressing thought.
